Very Cool Bike

While walking up the street, I noticed that the little two year old girl next door was playing with a type of bicycle I hadn’t seen before. And she was going very fast! This bicycle was made of wood and was very sturdy and rugged looking, but didn’t have pedals. I walked over to her mom and asked what kind of bicycle it was. Her mom said it was a balance bike, and that her pediatrician had recommended it for toddlers who are just learning to balance on a bike. It was like she was literally ‘running’ the bike! Very cool. I hope to get one for my son.

Their First Gig

Tonight my daughter’s band has their first gig. They are an all girl band and my daughter is beginning to wonder if they are ready. She told me that it feels like just yesterday that they were searching for information on How To Play A Guitars and now they are playing a gig. I have listened to them and I think that they are ready. They may be a group of 13 year olds but they sound a lot older.

Role of the ECCE in Childcare

The ECCE is an acronym for the Early Childhood Care and Education scheme that arranges free early childhood care for the span of a year. This is especially meant for children who are still in their pre-school years.  Kids are eligible for the ECCE scheme once they fall in the age group of 3 years and 2 months to 4 years and 7 months.

Tomorrow my daughter and I are going to go shopping. We are going on a cruise in a couple of months and we need to look at formal dresses.
