Baby Shower Gifts Gone Organic

The other day, there was a baby shower invitation in my email inbox for one my co-workers who is pregnant and I was pleasantly amazed to see that she asked for all gifts to be organic. I am aware that organic baby clothes are healthier both for the environment and the baby. They are manufactured from organically grown fibers. Toxic materials are not used and you can be confident that there’s nothing harmful in them. My friends who have used organic clothing also state that the texture and feel is very soft against the skin and have a comfortable feel. Others might be irritated that they are being limited on what gifts they can purchase. Particularly when organic goods are usually more expensive they just might not want to spend a high amount. The solution would be to purchase a smaller gift and be happy to show respect to the mother’s desire for organics. Don’t forget that you also did a good thing for mother earth.
