Sam Neill, a Hendersonville attorney, is a two-time graduate of Wake Forest University - as an undergraduate and from its School of Law. He served 12 years on the University of North Carolina Board of Governors and as its chairman. Following that service, Sam was on the Board of Trustees of the North Carolina School of the Arts for eight years, serving as chairman of the Board and as chairman of the Chancellor Search Committee. Recently, he was elected a Trustee Emeritus of the School. Currently he serves on the AdvantageWest Board dealing with creative industries and is chairman of the WNC Film Commission. Sam is married with 5 grown children.
